Meditation Is Not Difficult It’s Energising.

By Greg Mannion International Breathwork Coach

This is my short story of how I found meditation and breathwork to be more enjoyable and energising than I originally thought.

Ever since I can remember I always wanted to be able to connect with other people but I could find myself isolating very easily even though I’m classed as an extrovert. I needed to find ways I could express myself that I could really enjoy while not worrying about it. So when I found a way that I could get myself and other people energized and expressing themselves through movement, vocal expression, deep breathing and guided emotional meditation journeys. I knew I was onto something that I could possibly call my vocation for the first time in my life. Breathwork. Meditation. Music. Combined they formed my new passion, because it was all the things I loved and that I personally needed, put together in one package at the same time for the same outcome…Deep release, deep expression, deep connection. Bumm I was hooked and convinced I could get other people feeling the same way very quickly.

A Wim Hof event in Barcelona 2018 was the catalyst for my emotional and energetic re-birth. That day I meditated using the breath with over 200 people, I knew what it was like to meditate and release deep. I went to the front of the stage and told them I wanted to be an instructor and how could I go about that right now? Here I met Niraj the founder of Soma breath (im now one of the first master instructors within Soma), the technique that was very similar to the wim hof method but with unique differences, it added a deeper meditation journey, music and a spiritual understanding of what was possible with the breath (and you didn’t have to get into a bath of ice). I Learned you can manifest what you want in your life easily and learned that the law of attraction really works!

I now mix breathwork, meditation and music into a playful, highly enjoyable fusion I call Infinite breath. Hopefully opening the doors of meditation perception to as many people as possible, that may have found meditation frustrating. Being able to connect with people in my own slightly eccentric style through these breathing techniques and meditations really has helped me personally and thousands of people all over the world go into a deeper connection with themselves and others through powerful visualisations, meditation journeys and music, more so than i ever thought possible.

Meditation is better together…
